Time to enable Logging >From WebUI Settings/Advanced/Logging set player.source top DEBUG and click Apply. Note time. Try to play a m3u8 stream. After about 20 secs (assuming nothing has played) go to WebUI Settings/Information and look at log file. Copy all log message from noted time to end into a text file.
