32bit vs 64bit You can find whether your Windows 7 PC is 32 bit or 64 bit by:
Click on the "Start" button Right click on "Computer" and select "Properties" from the options displayed Under the heading "System" you will see "System type" which will tell you whether your operating system is 32 or 64 bit. If you have a 32 bit operating system you MUST use the 32 bit version of ffmpeg. If you have a 64 bit operating system you can use either the 32 bit or the 64 bit version of ffmpeg. (Although my operating system is 64 bit, I am using the 32 bit version of ffmpeg.) Apart from that the only difference in the procedure is that some of the windows folder names will (I think) be slightly different in the two operating systems. I don't know anything about the SMARTDNS service (Unlocator) but if this enables you to "fool" the streaming system into thinking you are in the UK then you can use the uk version of bonze's replacement BBC iPlayer menu (the meno.opml file).
