Someone else is working on a new BBCiPlayer fixes thread - just the bare bones of how to get Live and LA running, with as few repeats as possible but pointing to the key posts elsewhere when needed. The live HLS side of things is not exactly trivial for some users.
As to a communications thread for the BBC, that well seems to have run dry, so what would we say? I'm not against it, just thinking out loud. Do we need some 'sticky' entries that are easier to find and hold just current 'master' informnation? LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit, 44.1->192kbps. LMS & Squeeze2upnp to MF M1 CLiC (to MF amp & ESLs) & Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. Minimserver (server) & upplay (control point) to same renderers & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 14.04 laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.
