Live Local stations can be resurrected by combining that section of the
menu.opml circulated here previously with the new menu.opml from Triode.
I have only tested my own station, but all I had to change was where it
says aac=http it should now be hls=http. I tried to get the image to
work , but failed thus far.
Anyhow, if you are desperate this might help.
Insert at the end of the Live section (before the closing </outline>)
the bit for your station like:
Code:
--------------------
<outline text="BBC Local Radio" >
<outline text="BBC Three Counties" type="audio"
icon="http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/img/radio/bbc_three_counties_radio.gif"
URL="iplayer://live?hls=http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/manifesto/audio/simulcast/hls/uk/sbr_high/ak/bbc_three_counties_radio.m3u8&;icon=http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/img/radio/bbc_three_counties_radio.gif"
/>
</outline>
--------------------
I haven't attempted to provide a fix for all stations, partly because I
haven't made the images work yet.
It's all working well on my system, and I have a choice on Listen Again
between the 128kbps from BBCiPlayer or 320kbps from BBCIPlayerExtras.
Thanks again to Triode and bpa.
