No, the post you quoted is referring to the version on the Amazon App store. Amazon devices do not have Google Play services installed, which is required for Wear and Chromecast support, and Amazon tend to reject apps that even hint at using anything Google related. The version on Google Play is exactly the same as the one that got removed. The original app was most likely removed because the screenshots had album covers in it and the legal arm of some record company probably noticed and complained to Google. This of course is just a guess. Google never specifically said that the screenshots were infringing, only that the app involved displaying album covers. And they didn't mention this until after the removal and there was nothing I could do about. I think Google's stance is that since they not review apps before publication (at least not until very recently) and you could just republish any app that was removed, they are not going to spend any effort to try to work out the situation with you. -------------- Squeezebox apps for webOS, Android and Windows Phone, http://www.angrygoatapps.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ wt0's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18760 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96757 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
