Have added 12 new files and run "look for new and changed media files" with (plugin.smartmix) - Smart Mix set to "debug". I do not know where to find the scanner.log file to attach it to this reply, but have cut and pasted the contents from the browser when I opened it.
Check settings/Information. The link to the scanner.log file actually says where it is stored ;-).
