I haven't looked at the at the code of the patchedplugin nor the alpha verison but in WMA time - the plugin expected a choice between different speeds and protocols. I think the plugin has a problem when offered two streams with same protocol and same speed but different suppliers. There was a problem which was similar to this in the Applet.
