This doesn't make sense. If the aac->flac with faad/flac isn't working
(e.g. flac executable is broken) you'll get an error something like
"cannot find file" - LMS will not drop down to PCM.
The correct setting for AAC for normal operations is

AAC AAC native
FLAC faad/flac
MP3 faad/lame
PCM faad
--------------------
The only way to be sure is to repeat the logging you did before where
all Filetype are enabled, then enable logging and you try to play a
stream.
