Erland, I'm having a problem with Custom Scan kicking off when I don't
want it to. See

I essence I need to have Custom Scan run automatically after a normal
LMS rescan, which I trigger automatically overnight (since the scan
takes many hours).
However, I sometimes modify a file in a directory, in this case a video
(used by the LMS UPnP Media Server), and LMS may initiate a short folder
scan, such as:

This set off a full Custom Scan, meaning I couldn't use LMS for many
hours (the scan makes playing very unpredictable and unstable).
mherger says that there's a difference between this sort of LMS scan and
a normal one, and that Custom Scan could tell the difference and not run
for these folder scans. He said:

the same issue. It's not exactly behaving the same as Erland's iirc, but
it would be possible to recognize anyway. Importers (like our two
plugins implement them) would always trigger an external scan, while the
BMF case would run in the server process. The plugin is able to
distinguish these two cases and could act appropriately."-
Is this feasible?
LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit,
44.1->192kbps. LMS & Squeeze2upnp to MF M1 CLiC (to MF amp & ESLs) &
Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. Minimserver (server) & upplay (control
point) to same renderers & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to
Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 14.04
laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with
Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver. Have a Touch
with EDO, and a spare, but don't use.
