I could use some assistance determining the correct URL format to
retrieve the JSON data from ESPN.com so the MLB scores can be fixed in
SDT. Maybe someone here has an idea on how to decipher the variable
portion of the URL.
The base URL remains the same, but each time you load the page in a web
browser a variable number is inserted in the URL. Sending requests to
the same URL gives you updated scores for some period of time, but it
does expire. For instance the URL I captured couple nights ago (marked
4/8/2015) worked that night, but not the next night or today. The URL
that I captured this afternoon (marked 4/10/2015) is working now, but I
expect that it will not work tomorrow or possibly later tonight.
Any ideas?
