I've not tried, I don't have cross-compiling for OS X. Having said that, there are 3 parts in sq2u - squeezelite: it compiles under OSX (I've heavily modified it, but should still work) - libupnp: I think it does compile under OS X, I've done very light modifications to it - my own code that I've added: I've tried to make the best efforts to not be architecture dependant, so it should compile. The most painful part might the small piece of code that gets the MAC address of players, but this is not stricly necessary, if this address is not found, defaults will be used. I guess Ralphy is the best person to give his opinion on such compilation / porting PS: you do not have to run sq2u on the machine that runs LMS, it can be on any device connected to your network. A cheap raspi does the job very well and there are images for it LMS 7.7.2 - 5 radio, 3 Boom, 4 Duet, 1 Touch, 1 SB2.
