I may be some time.... I must apologise again. It all works properly. When I ran the tests before I could not get the upnp_socket parameter to work at all with my firewall on. I was convinced I had tried this with port 49153, several times, and checked it. However, today I cannot reproduce the problem at all. I must have had serious finger trouble. Sorry :(

Minimserver (server) & upplay (control point) to same renderers & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 14.04 laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.
