Let's start with a simple test. Can you install the Microsoft Sysinternals Process Explorer on thr sytstem that runs LMS ? If so, can you set it up to display processes as process trees. Watch the LMS process and see what happens when you play the Grooveslaad AAC stream. You should see a child process socketwrapper.exe being created (possibly under a cmd.exe process I can't remember exactly) and then faad.exe and flac.exe processes starting up. They shpoudl all run until the stream is stopped and then should all die. Now watch the LMS process and see what happens when you play a BBC stream - is the process tree creation the same or different (e.g. mulitple socketwrapper/faad/flac processes start up and shutdown often) compared to the Groovesalad. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
