OK, so when playing on squeezelite, which seems to work OK, but doesn't require transcoding, I see no child processes as expected. With Radio 4, I see the socketwrapper process start, and then it kicks off 3 sub processes - conhost, faad and flac. Setup looks exactly the same when playing GrooveSalad. The difference is that with Groovesalad, every 2 secs or so, I see a blip of CPU from socketwrapper, faad and flac - nothing on conhost. With Radio 4, I don't see any CPU usage from any of the processes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ psketch's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56555 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53229 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
