Fair enough as I didn't look at the softsqueeze code in question. I should have asked for the patches first before commenting, my bad. However, experience has taught me that with server side changes you must make every effort to isolate changes to the player code. Other non softsqueeze software players are using the softsqueeze player type and this change may impact them, and it may not. But you should consider this when making server side changes.
