If you are happy using pcm then at least one problem less to worry
about.

I'm now trying to remember what my problem was with Qobuz (I assume you
are streaming flacs). I think I got it to work, but I only had a trial
licence so didn't make a note of the issues. You could try the 'proxied
streaming' option in LMS Settings, Player, Audio, Streaming Method.

Note that for send pcm to a hardware renderer, your LMS server needs to
have the cpu power to do the conversion, and your network should
probably be wired rather than wireless, to handle the extra data. In my
case my server is much more powerful than my renderer, and I suspect I
get a better result on high quality tracks, since the renderer seems to
struggle to do the conversions itself (the display scroll almost stops).

LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit,
44.1->192kbps. LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to MF amp &
ESLs) & Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. Minimserver (server) & upplay
(control point) to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to
Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 15.04
laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with
Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver. Have a Touch
with EDO, plus spare, but unused.
