hmmm ... what version of JRiver are you using ? I'm testing 20.0.115. In option, media network, I've set DLNA server to be Generic DLNA (although I don't think it matters as it is for the server, not the renderer). I'm running that on WinXP virtualized. I can confirm that with HTTP option set to 'fixed large size' I have the same problem you see. With 'chunked', it works fine except for flac.
