This plugin is amazing! I was running LMS on Windows 8.1 with a convoluted combination of Shairport4w which was piping to VLC which would transcode to MP3 and do an HTTP stream to LMS. It was very laggy (2 - 10 secs) and very unreliable. I finally took an old Nettop I had and loaded Debian with LMS. I am using a bunch of USB sound cards to output to speakers all over the house. It's working WAY better. Let lag than my Apple TV 2 and I like how the AirPlay volume control proxies over to the Squeezelite player. I've also tested where one device AirPlays to one room and another device AirPlays to another and it works perfect. The only problem I am having is that I can't sync multiple players. As soon as I group two players the playback stops. This is something I use all the time. I like to be able to AirPlay to one room and then use the iPeng iOS App to link other rooms to that room so that I have music all through the house.
I've seen several people ask if this is possible but no one ever responds. I'm guessing this isn't possible. If not, is this something that could be resolved?
