About Hires: I think adding an additional selction in settings would handle this nicely. BubbleUPnP does it that way. You can choose your max. resolution at either mp3, 44.1khz, 96khz or 192khz. I have Qobuz Sublim now and tested it with Squeezelite and BubbleUPnP and it works fine, even over WiFi.
