Yes to stopping the Bridge (and the Onkyo) before applying changes. I will try the wav as you suggest but at present everything is working except gapless playback. I shall be interested to see whether Phillipe thinks the Onkyo should do it. If I apply <accept_nexturi>1 then I get strange results. Sometimes the Onkyo will play the next track and sometimes it won't but never gapless. I have noticed that with LMS controlling volume the Onkyo displays "Volume 20" (20 being my setting) before each and every track so I have opted for no LMS volume control which now works - seemingly everything hinged on changing the HTTP encoding. I am persisting at this as I am going to offer a build and install service locally using I think Vortexbox on a small headless PC & Pi's predominantly. I run a small Internet Consultancy business so have been dicking about with Linux for donkeys and have had Squeezeboxen and LMS for years. UPnP is new.
