I found this from my earlier attempts:

f. Open the config.xml file in a text editor
g. The last entry should be something like:

<device>
<udn>uuid:33e3db30-4d68-448d-8451-fc6c95e9779d</udn>
<name>Vistron</name>
<enabled>1</enabled>
</device>

Note udn and name may be different

h. Add the following 2 lines after the enabled line

<stream_length>1000000000</stream_length>
<volume_curve>0:0, 32768:25, 65536:100</volume_curve>

i. Save the file as config.xml

l. Go to LMS-gui - at the top right there's a small drop-down button.
The Reciva should be shown as an available player - select to make it
the active player.

m.You can adjust the base volume to 6-7 bars. Adding bars above this
can produce very loud volume! Be careful.
