CPU on my Server is fine, less than 1% load. I think I found a fix though...
I changed the value here: "use constant RETRY_TIME => 0.10;" (was at 0.4) and now it SEEMS to be working fine with 24/96 streams. I set the other value (*16) back to it's original value since it did not help. Will keep testing and report back if I run into any more stuttering/buffering.
