If I add any sort of audio casting to either apps, people will expect it to work just like a Squeezebox and sending the LMS mp3 stream to the Chromecast would definitely not work take way. The controls would be sluggish, skipping and rewinding would be temperamental and you might not even be able to control the volume from the app. Not to mention none of the more advanced features like crossfire, replay gain, and synced playback would not work. If you want the Chromecast to play the LMS mp3 stream, you can already do it by casting a Chrome tab.
