When you say there is a delay, do you mean starting-up, or is it always
behind the web gui display? I get a few seconds delay at start and then
the gui resets to the actual playing time (near enough).
Personally I would start with the option to ignore all LMS volume
settings ("LMS volume changes" set to 'ignore all changes') and just use
the player's remote control. If you really want to use the LMS volume
control you can try it later.
I use flc as my primary codec, and get 24/192 tracks playing OK. I
don't know what your player supports. If using pcm then you need to
find the correct uncompressed settings for your system. My uncompressed
settings are 'raw', 'no' and 'packed type 1' but yours may be different.
The latter in particular gives rise to garbage if wrong.

Wireless Xubuntu 15.10 laptop firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with
Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.
Also a Touch with EDO, plus spare, unused.
