This is normal and due to the way live stream work. All players (CC or UPnP), accept to received the metadata of a track at the "load" time, when they are instructed what to do to acquire the audio track. For individual tracks, this happens at every track, but for a live stream, this happens only once at the beginning of the playback, then it is just a very long stream of audio ... With ICY, a partial solution has been developped and that is to insert some metadata in the audio stream, from time to time (every X bytes). Title, artist can be inserted and some say an url to the coverart. I send the 3, but only artist and title are used by all players I've tested so far. So, as a result, when playing radio paradize, for example, you see the full metadata of the 1st track (artist, title, coverart) and then only the artist and title will change. When you press "next" or "stop+play", it is like starting a new track, so the whole metadata are sent > Yep, that's what I've been doing. Then I don't understand what's happening.
