Thanks for the replies. Disabling firewall and erasing the configuration file has fixed my discovery issues. I have a "renderer" in the LMS web ui now. Pushing the play button is spooking the chromecast somehow now and making it reboot. It does display the mp3 artwork and artist/title info on the screen but no sound... It gives up at some point and the chromecast device reboots. The renderer returns the web UI to the paused state. I am going to continue to play with this but again I appreciate any further ideas you may propose. For what it is worth these are the ports I see this utilizing in my firewall GUI... 1900 UDP 36854 UDP 49152 TCP
