Problem is how to run it independently. Not sure how to proceed. I have a win 7 laptop. But if you mean running standalone outside of LMS how does one proceed with accomplishing that ? I looked at the running plugin and see this: /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/CastBridge/Bin/squeeze2cast-x86-static -Z -f /var/log/squeezeboxserver/castbridge.log -d decode debug -x /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/castbridge.xml How does one setup a standalone of the above on a windows 7 system and what happens when the laptop goes into sleep mode for example. I know enough to imagine that the command line structure for win 7 could possibly be a bit different and the paths need to be adjusted for the windows environment. Can I use the existing configuration file or does it have platform specific stuff there too. I have pretty limited resources other than this admittedly flawed option. I personally have serious deficiencies dealing with windows 7 firewalling too, but expect I can google my way out of that swamp. Thanks for any suggestions. BTW it is okay to say "get lost"... I might if I was in your place. :D Tim C. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tcagle53's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65232 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104614 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
