I know this is confusing, but you don't have to click on the "generate" button. Players will be added in the configuration file on-the-go when they appear. They are not *removed* from the configuration file when they diseapear though. The config file does not *create* the player, but it is the source of configuration options for sq2c when it discovers a player (and discovery runs every 30s).
