Yes, I don't know the technical detail, [something about DNS lookups for streams?] but since I have changed to Google DNS servers on the computer hosting LMS, I get maybe 1 or 2 drop outs in hours of listening. With Plusnet's own DNS servers, I was getting multiple dropouts every hour and sometimes within a minute. What I can also say, based on my experience, is drop outs seem to be more prevalent on the live streams rather than catchup. It would be nice to think that we could raise a ticket with Plusnet and get them to investigate, but I'm afraid I agree with your experience - we have no chance getting traction and resource for them to even understand the problem! So instead have to feedback here or develop workarounds, like using more compliant DNS servers...
