Up until now I have only ever used iPeng on an iPod touch and an iPhone but I had occasion to borrow an original iPad mini for a work project on Monday. I had to wipe it and install with my Apple ID so I thought what the hell I shall try iPeng on it. Apart from the iPad itself being a bit slow even compared to my 5s I can now see all the work Pippin has done on the iPad version which makes it a better experience than on a phone. I am a big user of Lookup and the in App browser on the phone annoys me from a navigation point of view. Not so on the iPad it works much better. Is it my imagination or is the amplifier in this original iPad mini a bit stronger than on my 5s or Touch 5? I have ordered a 64gb mini 4. It arrives tomorrow.
I am going to be making a 12 hour each way flight in the near future. Before I go Pippin could you just implement the local file download you have mentioned from time to time ? :) That really would be ace. *Vortexbox LMS 7.8 music on QNAP TS419p via NFS* iThingys/iPeng/Tablets *Living Room* - SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 - > Celestion Ditton F20s - Zone 2 -> Sony TA FE 320 -> Sennheiser RS 130 & B&W P7 *Office* - RPi -> Sony TA FE320 -> Celestion F10s / SB3 -> Onkyo CRN 755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - SB Touch -> Topping TP21 -> AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - Amazon Fire TV (SB Player) -> Topping TP20 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes ------------------------------------------------------------------------ d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
