Oh, updating does the trick! The world is full of wonder ;-) (I feel a little bit stupid now) I updated to the latest nightly build (BTW: is it a good idea?) and after some hick-ups with the DB (DB locked after restart of service, had to reboot Pi) and Triode's Spotify Plugin (Self test fails, but works good for some reason, but I guess this belongs to another thread) everything seems to run smoothly.
