I'm testing and clicking recipes. Here is a debug log, when playing and not playing recipes: http://pastebin.com/H9JUYU5V It's probably finding less tracks than before with some of the recipes.
BTW. If I click "play this mix" in blender, it's not playing listed tracks directly, but starting it as a recipe.
