Hi, Thanks for reply so quickly. Yes, I think when they brought out the 3rd gen ipod touch with more memory, they just updated the ios on the 2nd gen 8gb model and re-branded it as an 8gb 3rd gen. I think you're right about the low memory issue...it's been running solidly for 2 days on the iPhone.
Unfortunately my speaker dock doesn't seem to charge and play the iPhone..but it works fine with the iPod Touch..LOL! But that's obviously not an iPeng problem.
