Not the case (in my case anyway) has happend a few times (3 or 4) even
before v2.0
My sdcard is 32Gb and I always expand the fs.
Looking back on it its usually when I'm messing with ssh. Today it was
installing the superdatetime screensaver last time it was installing a
power control script.
Anyway I found that doing an "upgrade" to reinstall most of the
filesystem fixes it.
I've found though that you do not have to reboot, just disable jivelite,
save but do not reboot then reenable jivelite (only saves one reboot
though !).
