So, I guess I'm just wondering - is this the trade-off that we have to live with now? Continue using the Triode plugin and not be able to search in Spotify (unless some miraculous fix is forthcoming via Spotify API or Mr Triode) or use Michael's Spotify protocol Handler with the official Spotify plugin and lose all those nice features?
You can still use them both in parallel as outlined elsewhere. And some of the deficiencies you mentioned will be ironed out soon.
