Hi Erland
I have always had problems with trackstat. Maybe, as you told me in the
past, CPU performance problems (I have now a synology DS213j, before
that i had a QnapTS209... i think they are on the average as a home NAS,
used for media streaming....).

Anyway, after a new install some month ago of LMS 7.9 (thanks to the new
synology repack) everythink was working very well. Even trackstat was
quite responsive...
Then, I don't know why, at a certain point performances drop down. Very
down. I checked (via the plugin tweak_database) and found out that the
persistent.db had problems (40% waste, while it used to be 10%).

After some tries, I have stopped LMC, delated the databases, and
restarted everything, triggering a new scan.

My plan was to restore the trackstat statistics via the backup file. But
the result is a 2 hours 100%CPU load work.... I had to kill it.

So, my point is that, at the end,.... trackstat turns out to be
completely unusable. If I have (from time to time) to clear data and
cannot restore my statistics..... statistics become useless (NB I have
more or less 5000 CDs...)

Look, I'm not complaining, but after some years with my squeezebox (that
I love), with LMC (that I love) and your plugins.... I have to say that
trackstat really never worked for me, and it's a pity.
