Yes different file systems and OS has different restrictions ? OS and
filesystem would not always restrict the same thing ...

What you can try is to set all file permissions correct recursively for
the whole directory on the NAS ( from command line ) in case you missed
one or two files over the years , sometimes moving files over network
can do that .

As the NAS also is Linux all files and folder begining with dots "." Are
hidden .

Characters ? As you acess a Linux file system with a win machine . You
must eradicate characters that are forbidden in both systems ( Google a
list of those ) slashes hashes dots etc .

For anyone else ( op seems aware ) file tags and filename does not have
to be similar , you can keep all accents and umlauts in the tags .
