Yes different file systems and OS has different restrictions ? OS and filesystem would not always restrict the same thing ...
What you can try is to set all file permissions correct recursively for the whole directory on the NAS ( from command line ) in case you missed one or two files over the years , sometimes moving files over network can do that . As the NAS also is Linux all files and folder begining with dots "." Are hidden . Characters ? As you acess a Linux file system with a win machine . You must eradicate characters that are forbidden in both systems ( Google a list of those ) slashes hashes dots etc . For anyone else ( op seems aware ) file tags and filename does not have to be similar , you can keep all accents and umlauts in the tags . -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
