Reporting back - the aac eq. works!! I looked at the man page - I must be losing it because it made no sense. For example, I couldn't find any reference to the - -D switch.
I'm going to chug again .... sorry .... any chance of an mp3 line (given the player plays mp3 without any transcode - or I think it does).
