Why do you keep going at it the hard way? LMS has a builtin MusicIP client, which does this for you, albeit a little featureless and which needs MusicIP to run on the same machine as LMS, but by far the best and easiest way of interfacing with MusicIP is Spicefly Sugarcube, a plugin for which you'll need a license (£20, lifetime license or £10/year), which is a nobrainer actually. It should give you all you need, and probably a lot more.
