I assume that your aim is to run multiple instances of Spotifyd so that
you can use more than one Spotify ID (Premium for Family?) at the same
time. Based on what you have discovered I think you would only be able
to do this by having a VM or multiple VMs running LMSs but pointed at
the same library. I do this with separate instances of LMS on separate
hardware but with my music stored on a NAS and available to both
instances. I get occasional issues with players moving from one to
another but I can live with that. VMs would definitely also work.
