First, I want to join the chorus of thanks to Michael for all the work
and support on keeping spotify going on the squeezebox.
I have just spent several hours trying to figure out why Spotify on LMS
worked fine on the Touch, but not on the Classic, Duet or Squeezeplay on
iMac. Browsing and selection was fine and the web interface shows that
the selected track was playing but the classic and squeezeplay just
showed "connecting...."
After some investigation, the answer was staring me in the face in the
server log:

Seems that osmc (based on kodi) uses port 9090 for IPv6 traffic, as can
be seen from :

Resolution is easy - just change the LMS cli port (server settings/
Advanced tab/ Command Line Interface). I set it to 9092, stopped and
restarted LMS, and everything was fine. Now I can play/sync spotify on
all devices.
