Hello Philippe,

I am using your plugin to play music from Logitech Media Server (LMS),
run on an always-on low power Asus Eeepc, to 2 recently purchased
Chromecast Audios (CCA's). I have been using Squeezeboxes for a long
time, but have always had sync issues, which were especially annoying in
the kitchen and livingroom, which are open connected. This meant I could
not play two separate devices (tried 2 squeezebox classics and 1x
software squeezelite and 1x squeezebox classic), which are connected to
2 separate amplifiers, simultaneously in kitchen and living room.

Now, with the CCA's I am finally able to have synced music from all
types of sources (internet radio, local files and Spotify with Triodes
plugin). Thank you very much for creating your plugin that allows me to
use it with LMS!!!!!

Although all options work fine, I do have an issue that pops up now and
then after using the new setup for one week.

I have created a group called 'HomeGroup' in the Google Chromecast App
and I use this Group and its newly created ID in LMS to control the
music in all instances.
So for instance, when using the native Spotify app (i.e. NOT the -LMS
Spotify plugin) I use the Cast-to option to cast the music to the
HomeGroup. This works great.

When using the computer, I play music via LMS by using URL's with the ID
of the HomeGroup in it. My Eeepc is headless, so I control LMS using
Http commands sent by a Python-based home automation program called
"Eventghost". For instance, by issuing from Eventghost the following
Python command:
urllib.urlopen('htt
p://192.168.1.40:9000/status_header.html?p0=playlist&p1=shuffle&p2=1&player=cc%3Acc%3AXX%3AXX%3AXX%3AXX'),
LMS starts playing a certain playlist using the 'HomeGroup' and both
CCA's start playing in sync. This also works great.

However, I have noticed that occasionally, after having used the 'true
chromecasting' feature from the native Spotify, it is no longer possible
to find the HomeGroup in the overview of players in LMS. I check which
players are available in the excellent Ipeng app on the IPhone and the
Squeezecommander app on the Android tablet and in both instances the
HomeGroup has disappeared.
The only way to get the HomeGroup back is by erasing and regenerating
the configuration file of your plugin inside the LMS plugin
configuration page. This does not always work first-time, but after a
few tries, I can find the HomeGroup again and can use it again in LMS.

Do you have any idea on what could be the cause of this and what I could
do to improve the stability of the Grouped Chromecast Audio's?

Thank you again for your excellent work and patience ;-)

Regards,
Perry
