- for the volume, a log file will tell me exactly what the bridge
receives whn you press the volume change. You don't need to set any
special log level, just leave the defaults (none)
- you should not have to worry about the codecs because the bridge
translate everything to PCM (ALAC encapsulated) for the airplay device,
which is the only format it recognizes. The reason why I've left the
possibility to change codecs reported to LMS is in case you want LMS to
do the transcoding, and not the bridge (for CPU reason, for example, if
the bridge is running on a different machine, although you should really
not need to do that). I can't see why MP3 would not play. If you have
left codecs to the default, it should (I'm testing ofte with MP3
radios). The only reason coould be that you run on a machine that does
not have a mp3 decoder shared libary available, in which case if you use
the -static version, all codecs are built-in
- If you can test the Loop, that would be helpful as well so that when I
release a stable version, I know which one works and which one don't

Thanks
