This happens even when you stop / restart purely using LMS or it happens only with the player's remote? Did you try with iTunes for example to see if there is a similar problem? I have a faulty JBL player that does support volume from any controller. Also, when a track is playing and you change volume in LMS (with parameter at 0), does it change on the player
