Don't forget it's Windows that needs the updated faad.exe or it sees occasional BBC AAC stream contents as end of file or something similar. I have no idea if the fix for that ever made it into LMS distributions. I use the updated faad.exe on my WHS v1 server running the released LMS 7.8.0 playing to a single wired Receiver. I've had two occasions recently when the entire of LMS stopped running while I was playing BBC Dash streams, but since it's been at the rate of once a month I haven't looked into it.
