Since you get no error message in the log from the BBCiPlayer plugin - the problem is probably due to some other interaction with system setup or some DASH UK only info that I don't see and is causing problems.
There are a number of "interesting" aspects to your system, however since Radio Paradise and SomaFM play OK - it seems to be OK. The long 10sec delay when starting a stream is odd - even with large network buffer settings- stream should play within 3 secs. I'd like a log of the start of a playing a live stream. With system idle. 1. Enable logging plugin.bbciplayer.dash to INFO 2. Note time 3. Play a national BBC live stream. 4.
