Folks, David and I just came up with our strategy for enabling the Plum CMS to selectively generate static content both on an on-demand and a scheduled basis, which eliminates any database burden to display content. You can pick and choose which content items you want to statically generate and which ones you want to remain dynamic, and you don't even have to change your Verity to accommodate it.
The only thing you'll have to do is check a checkbox on the content item add/edit form and change the name of the cf_DisplayContent tag on the display template to cf_DisplayStaticContent. More on this later, but I thought I'd let you all know that it's a' comin' down the pike.
