What do you think about providing a form for paid licensed users, that
allows them to enter their company info (custom header) that gets
inserted into the generated code instead of the Productivity Enhancement
generator? I have used frameworks in other environments that do this,
and it is a great feature. This would only be for paid licenses.
That's just a simple edit of the header and footer files in each layout you
want to use. Not worth the development investment to automate this.
Remember that Plum is not trying to be a heavy all-in-one development tool
Yeah, right. IDE, SP and CFC generator. Seems like it is doing most
of the heavy lifting to me :)
because that approach never seems to work. Plum automates the major
bricklaying work of an application, after which you "graduate" your
generated source code from the Plum IDE to your favorite code editor (like
HomeSite, for which we've created GUI custom tag editors and helps files),
then handcraft any additional custom work and hand-tweak the custom tag
calls and other code generated by the Plum IDE.
