As such, almost all fields are required, except address 2 and a few others. So, what if when you created a new user one of the fields (in the database not the form...submitted as a variable called UserName). It would basically be a combination of values entered on the add form for the plumUsers table, as such: "#Form.LastName# + '_' + #Form.FirstName + '_' + #Form.Phone#". Something like: <cf_PassColumnToAction column="UserName" type="integer" value="#Form.LastName# + '_' + #Form.FirstName + '_' + #Form.Phone#" valueIfEmpty="NULL"> Forgive me if that is the wrong syntax. I actually stole that from an email sent to me by Jeff, for another issue, and I don't know if it would actually work that way. This would, for all intents and purposes, produce unique value for that field and be more searchable [is that a word?] and user friendly. It would really be cool if you could put spaces in instead of '_' but I'm guessing that would be a no no. Has anyone tried this and did it work?
