I still have firstName, LastName and Phone in the table. I just wanted to use another, more meaningful value in the <cf_displayFilteredSelect> than the PlumUser.Email. So now I can use PlumUser.UserName (Tthe combination of Plum.FirstName, Plum.LastName and PlumUser.Phone), which is much more user friendly that PlumUser.email and still make sure it is a unique value.
My coding skills are weak at best so I want to use as much of the Plum features as possible. Key for PlumUser I guess it depends on what you ultimately want to do with it. If I were going to use it in a list or something, I would probably add commas so that it presents better. I guess my question would be why you are storing all of those form values as one value? It has been my experience that in most cases it is better to keep the data as atomic as possible and then combine them for display purpose when necessary. In other words, I would have left the form working the way it was with 3 <cf_PassColumnToAction> calls, and then combine them for display purposes using a <cf_DisplayExtraFormContent> or <cf_DisplayExpressionInList> tag. What are you trying to accomplish by storing all three values in one field? Jeff Mark Fuqua wrote: > Thanks Jeff, > > Did that early this morning. Works well.
